Welcome to the HVSAC home page

The Heads of the Valley Sub Aqua Club (HVSAC for short!) is a sub aqua club based in the South Wales Valleys.

Established in 1964 we currently have roughly 70 members spanning the full range of age and experience. We have access to a swimming pool once a week and on the diving side own 2 Rigid Inflatible boats based in West Wales along with oxygen first aid and other equipment. In addition to this we run several trips a year further afield in the UK and abroad.

HVSAC is branch 263 of the British Sub Aqua Club, the governing body for scuba diving in the UK.

The main aim of the club is to organise and go diving ! We welcome qualified divers from all agencies and also offer training under the BSAC scheme from entry level to the higher grades. So whether you\'re already a qualified diver and just interested in going diving or if you're interested in learning to dive or even just a pool based "try dive" we can offer it.

We meet every Thursday in Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre where we have access to the 30m long/4m deep swimming pool 7pm - 8pm and from 8.15pm onwards members can generally be found in the bar upstairs.
